The Sanctuary for Independent Media’s “Underground Gallery” brings innovative photographers and visual artists to the Capital Region of New York State. We are dedicated to presenting artists who mainstream media and art venues often neglect. We especially seek artists who push their art to create new languages and expressive forms; we feature works with an aesthetic and conceptual edge that challenge the viewers to look at the world anew.
