Sanctuary Radio is a low-power, non-commercial radio station featuring hard-hitting local, national, and international news. In addition to our public affairs programming, we play a multicultural mix of music from the African Diaspora and beyond. Listen by tuning into WOOC-LP 105.3 FM Troy or stream online here!

We work with partner stations WOOG-LP 92.7 Troy, WOOS-LP 98.9 Schenectady, WOOA-LP 106.9 FM Albany, WCAA-LP 107.3 FM Albany, and WGXC 90.7 FM Hudson/ Catskill/ Acra. Give them a listen!

Our World Music Mix features music from the African Diaspora and beyond, including African jazz, pop, reggae, and more. Music runs weekly from 10AM – 3PM and 10PM to 6AM.

In addition to our music, we feature syndicated programming from programs such as Democracy Now!, WINGS, Radio Survivor, Black Agenda Report, and more. See our full schedule below.

The Hudson Mohawk Magazine (HMM) is Sanctuary Radio’s flagship program and is a locally-produced news hour featuring stories curated by our dedicated volunteers. It airs weekdays from 6PM – 7PM and replays the following morning at 7AM and 9AM.

Jazz Sanctuary features music and occasional interviews and is dedicated to supporting jazz in the Hudson-Mohawk Region. A rotation of DJs host Jazz Sanctuary on weekdays from 7PM – 10PM.
