“House Keys, Not Handcuffs” with Activist Cheri Honkala

Extraordinary activist, organizer, vice presidential candidate and “homeless hero,” Cheri Honkala, will lead a passionate discussion at The Sanctuary for Independent Media in Troy, NY about the human right to housing, the national movement to abolish poverty, and the upcoming 2015 US Social Forum in Philadelphia. Cheri Honkala’s talk is preceded by a community potluck and an open mic. A fundraiser for the U.S. Social Forum (Philadelphia) and the Poor People’s Economic Human Rights Campaign.
