Troy Library Events Jan/Feb 2024

Hear about all the great events happening at the Troy Public Library in late January and February. Carol Roberts tells us about activities for kids, including yoga, an anime movie night, teen game night, musical story hour, a winter reading challenge, and even make-and-take scarf kits. Then Michael Gregg shares info on lots of adult activities, including a talk on Jan. 20th with J.T. McGee, author of a vampire mystery/thriller set in upstate New York. Other events are a 1/25 workshop “Steeped in Success: The ABCs of Tea” on the history and various types of tea, with samples. There’s also a few artsy options: a knit & crochet evening, jewelry making workshop, and a relaxing adult coloring time (complete with a librarian reading a short story & curating background music). Plus a romance reading group. Something for everyone! For details on these and even a few more fun events (snowshoes?!), see www.thetroylibrary.org. Produced by Brea Barthel for Hudson Mohawk Magazine.
