NYS Senate Passes the Climate Superfund Act

On Tuesday, May 7, the New York State Senate passed the Climate Superfund Act to make the largest greenhouse gas emitters pay $3 billion a year for damages caused by their pollution. 35% of the funds would go for remediation projects in disadvantaged communities.
