NAACP Albany: Albany History & African American Advocacy

Sunday, February 25, 2024, Albany NAACP will hold the event Albany History & African American Advocacy, a local roundtable talk in recognition of the 115th NAACP National Founders Day, at the Albany Institute of Art and History.
The event begins at 1:00pm with the roundtable, and there will be a reception from 3-5pm.
Debora Y. Brown, President of Albany NAACP, and Beverly Ivey, Chair of civic engagement committee of Albany NAACP, spoke with Sina Basila Hickey for Hudson Mohawk Magazine.
