Black & Banned: Refusing to Let Our History Be Whitewashed

Frederick Allen Elks Lodge #609 and Mary A. Carter Temple #302, the two oldest black civic organizations in Saratoga Springs, NY, along with Our Lodge Foundation, are utilizing Black History Month to spotlight banned books, either penned by Black authors or illuminating racism and Black American history. Linda LeTendre, board of directors for Our Lodge Foundation, spoke with Caelan McPherson and Sina Basila Hickey about Black & Banned: Refusing to Let Our History Be Whitewashed, taking place on Sunday. February 4th at 2pm at the Frederick Allen Elks Lodge #609.
