Underground RR Fall Activities

Learn about what’s happening this Fall at the Underground Railroad Education Center at 194 Livingstin Ave. in Albany’s Arbor Hill. Paul Stewart, UREC’s “co-instigator,” describes a book club, “Delve the Shelves” program, an archaeological dig at a multi-generation Black-owned farm, tours, presentations, and more. He also welcomes listeners to help with spreading the word about Stephen & Harriet Myers and other Black abolitionists active in Albany in the 1850s and 60s. For more information, see undergroundrailroadhistory.org or call 518-621-7793. Produced by Brea Barthel for Hudson Mohawk Magazine.
