The Fight for $21.25 Minimum Wages (Index to Inflation) Part 3

On Monday, March 27, 2023, Hudson Mohawk Magazine Roaming Labor Correspondent Willie Terry was at the Capitol Million Dollar Staircase to cover the protest call for a $21.25 minimum wage and index it with inflation by 2026. The bills A2204A and S1978A were sponsored by Senator Jessica Ramos and Assemblymember Latoya Joyner and supported by the NYS AFL-CIO. In this part – three labor segments- Willie recorded exerts from speakers at the rally speaking on the need to raise the minimum wage to $21.25 and index it with inflation.
