Proud Boys Rally in Saratoga

On Saturday in Downtown Saratoga Springs, The Proud Boys held a ‘pop-up’ demonstration. Around 20 or so members of the notorious white nationalist group stood with masks and various flags on Broadway in Saratoga and loudly played the song, ‘Try That in a Small Town’, by Jason Aldean. The song has been criticized recently for promoting a hateful message. Lex Figuereo from Saratoga Black Lives Matter spoke with HMM reporter Moses Nagel. He was not present for the event, but shared his thoughts about what brought the group there and what the reaction was from city officials.
