Mayor Madden Outlines Plan to Address Lead in Water Service Lines
On February 16, Mayor Madden addressed the Public Utility committee of the Troy City Council to outline his proposed plan for dealing with the lead service lines. While expressing the need to 100% cover the cost of replacement, he also proposed a water rate increase to cover the cost. Here are some excerpts of his presentation.
