Kids books for February 2023

Hear about three kids books for Black History Month, plus a nonfiction book on critters that suck (literally). Carol Roberts, head of Young People’s Services for Troy Public Library, talks about the following: “Hey You!” (Adeola, 2022); “Boogie Boogie Y’all” (Esperanza, 2021); “Nina: A Story of Nina Simone” (Todd, 2021); and “Yuck, You Suck: Poems About Animals that Sip, Slurp, Suck” (Yolen & Stemple, 2022).
