On Tuesday, July 4, 2023, Hudson Mohawk Magazine Roaming Labor Correspondent Willie Terry attended the Underground Railroad Education Center, “July 4 Oration,” at the Myers Residence in Albany. Terri Leonini and Greg Artzner of the
Nationally Known folk duo Magpie in collaboration with Dr. Kim Harris of the Nationally known Kim and Reggie Harris folk duo, provided the music. In this labor segment, Willie spoke with Terry Leonino, who talked about her involvement in civil rights, Kent State anti-war protest, and her movement’s song history.
