Hunger Solutions NY Calls for State to Offset Federal Cuts in Hunger Benefits

With Congress downgrading the COVID crisis, the emergency allotment for SNAP (food stamp) benefits ended at the end of February. Several million New Yorkers will lose at least $95 a month in SNAP benefits. Other federal food benefits have been scaled back as well.
