Dakota Access Pipeline protesters gathered at the Sacred Stone Camp on the Standing Rock Reservation in 2016 to stop the construction of a pipeline going through Standing Rock Sioux Tribe land. “On Sacred Ground,” a film about this confrontation (focusing on the confrontation between a White journalist and oil company executive) will be showing at the earthshotproject in Albany. Alex Briggs, who joined the protests for 6 months, spoke with Hudson Mohawk Magazine’s Sina Basila Hickey to tell us more.
