Cohoes Housing Authority Authorizes Sale of Saratoga Sites Housing Complex to City

The Cohoes Housing Authority voted to authorize the sale of the Saratoga Sites housing complex across the track from the Norlite incinerator and aggregate company on Monday, Feb. 28. The property would be sold to the City of Cohoes, which wants to raze it and turn it into an industrial site. A proposal by Norlite to buy the site was rejected.
