Sam Fein on Expansion of Capital City Rescue Mission
The 70-year old Capital City Rescue Mission in the South End of Albany is seeking permission from the City for a $6 million, 31,000 square foot expansion, including a 200 bed dormitory. Local residents have raised concerns particularly about the impact on children at the nearby Giffen Elementary School.
