Local Residents Express Their Concerns About Norlite

Andrea Cunliffe from Hudson Mohawk Magazine speaks to members of the community who live in the vicinity of the Norlite plant in Cohoes during a community meeting with Lights Out Norlite, an activist organization dedicated to shutting down the facility. Norlite’s burning of hazardous materials has been correlated to an increased rate of cancer for nearby residents, according to data from the New York State Department of Health.
