Lansingburgh August books & activities

Hear about a couple novels, a couple gardening books, and heaps of activities from Laurie Dreyer, manager of Troy Public Library’s Lansingburgh branch. Books discussed include “Dial A for Aunties,” a fun novel exploring Asian-American weddings & culture (Sutanto, 2021); “House on the Cerulean Sea” (Klune, 2020); “Gardening Your Front Yard” (Nolan, 2020); and “The Northeast Native Plant Primer” (Lorimer, 2022). Activities include Library Card sign-up week, meditation classes, yoga classes, and more. Laurie welcomes people to lead other programs. See thetroylibrary.org for details. Produced by Brea Barthel.
