Celebrate Juneteenth 2022 in Troy

Renée Powell, President of the NAACP in Troy, talks with Andrea Cunliffe about the reason for celebrating Juneteenth and plans for the 3 day celebration in Troy. Embracing this day of emancipation, jubilation, and freedom with a pageant, parade, and family fun ending with the Praise House Meeting. All of Troy is welcome to celebrate the emancipation of the last remaining enslaved Africans on the weekend of June 19th.
