Books for kids for Women’s History Month

Hear about four books for youth that celebrate women in science and literature, plus heaps of activities in March at Troy Public Library. (Monkey puppet kits?!). Carol Roberts, Young People’s Services Librarian, talks with Brea Barthel about four books: “Wonder Women of Science: Twelve Women Who are Currently Rocking Science, Technology, and the World (Fletcher & Rue, 2021); “She Made a Monster:: How Mary Shelley Created Frankenstein (Lynn Fulton, 2018); “Amelia Lost: The Life and Disappearance of Amelia Earhart (Candace Fleming, 2011); and “Long Lost” (Jacqueline West, 2021). For more info, see troypl.org. Or check uhls.org for info on other libraries.
