A Day in the Life of a Tattoo Artist Krystal Ingram

The first tattoo that Krystal Ingram ever saw, was a tribal scorpion done in green, black, and orange on her uncle’s left arm. He got it as a memorial for her father. For her ten-year-old mind, this tattoo was the greatest way to honor someone you loved and ever since she has been fascinated with tattoos.

Krystal Ingram works at Sans Souci Tattoo which is where Hudson Mohawk Magazine correspondent Aileen Javier, decided to tattoo her dedication to honor the loved ones that transitioned in her life in 2022. This interview was recorded at Sans Souci Tattoo while Krystal was crafting a magical tattoo on Aileen. Let’s take a listen to the life of a tattoo artist -literally- at work!
