The Albany Holiday Lights Discussion

The growing popularity of Albany’s annual Holiday Lights display in Washington Park has led to controversy as neighbors decry the noise and exhaust from waiting cars, park access gets cut off to other activities, and everyone wonders if the event’s become all too much. We recently caught up with an Albany Common Council committee discussion of the issue, including a lack of stakeholder involvement for possible Holiday Lights alternate sites around the area.
