Susan Danziger – Sustainable Futures Conf. Preview

On Day 4 of the Sustainable Futures Conference, Susan Danziger will be speaking on “Solidarity Economies: Experiments in Local Resource Redistribution for Climate Justice.” Her session will cover her work with new models of resource distribution, from universal basic income (UBI) pilots to mutual aid and local currencies, as ways to combat the climate crisis while helping create more equitable communities.

Susan Danziger, founder/CEO of Eutopia Holdings, is an entrepreneur, investor, and board member based in the Hudson Valley. She co-founded The Spark of Hudson, a community learning center that launched HudsonUP, the first, small city universal basic income (UBI) pilot in the U.S. Susan also co-founded Wally Farms, a “farm of the future” and innovation hub for growing climate solutions. Named a fellow of the Royal Society of Arts, Susan serves on the board of the Humanity Forward Foundation.
