Reclaiming History – Dr. Solange Ashby- Egyptian History Overview- Part Two

On Reclaiming History, Part 2 Lovonia speaks with Dr. Solange Ashby Ph.D. She received her Ph.D. in Egyptology with a specialization in ancient Egyptian language and Nubian religion from the University of Chicago. Her first book, Calling Out to Isis: The Enduring Nubian Presence at Philae, explores the temple of Philae’s history as a Nubian sacred site. Lovonia Mallory in the episode Dr Ashby discuss the long history of Egypt that spread over 3,000 years. This is part 2 of a multi-part segment, Dr. Ashby reviews the timeline of Egypt: Predynastic period, Old Kingdom, Intermediate, Middle Kingdom, and New Kingdom, and 25th Dynasty.
