Former Troy Economic Development Coordinator Seeks City Council Seat

Cheryl Kennedy is running for a Troy City Council seat to represent District 6. HMM correspondent Corinne Carey talked to Cheryl about why she’s running, what her priorities will be should she win the seat, and her position on a number of issues facing the city. Cheryl has the nomination of Democratic party leaders, but is being challenged by Marketa Edwards for the Democratic party line. Early voting for the Democratic primary begins Saturday, June 12.
