Albany’s Retiring Council Members

In the last 3 election cycles, Albany’s common council has seen a remarkably high rate of turnover. In the previous two elections half the council was replaced and the election this month, five serving members stepped down. The Council of Albany Neighborhood Associations invited the council-persons who were stepping down to speak at their November meeting about what they had learned and experienced while serving.
