Young Researcher Program – Sam & Kevin

In the fifth and final installment of the Young Researcher series, Sam and Kevin examine how the COVID-19 pandemic may have ripple effects on the environment. First Sam hosts a game show and asks his friends health and environmental questions. Then, Kevin details his plan to balance economic relief with environmental protection.

The Young Researchers program pairs grade-school students with an RPI student mentor who assists them in researching and presenting a topic of their interest through the lens of sustainability.

Brandon Costelloe-Kuehn, a lecturer in science and technology studies at RPI, directs the Eco Ed program at RPI, and teaches a sustainability class that offers the Young Researchers program.
