HMM 9 – 4-2020

Hello Capital Region! This is the Hudson Mohawk Magazine on WOOC-LP 105.3 FM Troy and WOOS-LP 98.9 FM Schenectady broadcasting from The Sanctuary for Independent Media in Troy. I’m Guy Schaffer.
Today, on the Hudson Mohawk Magazine.

National Grid has apparently suspended their application for the E37 Albany Loop pipeline in Mohican territory on Papscanee island.

First, Bob Connors of the NY Stop Fracked Gas Pipeline talks with Mark Dunlea about the E37 gas pipeline that National Grid wants to build in the Towns of Bethlehem, North and East Greenbush

Then, Spencer Keable brings us the first segment of Fluoridation Nation, his multifaceted investigation into drinking water fluoridation.

After that, on Upstate Housing, Michele Maserjian speaks with Erin McElroy, cofounder of the anti-eviction mapping project, about property technology and is impacts on tenants.

Then, Elizabeth Press speaks with several members of the group Freedom Unshackled about their advocacy for more uniform, universally used policies and procedures within the Department of Justice.

And to close out the show, Alexis Goldsmith brings us voices from an August 26 press conference, in which residents urged Albany County Executive Dan McCoy to sign the Albany County Clean Air Law.
But first, here are the headlines.
