Barbara Heinzen on the NYS Clean Air Act

On Wednesday, Aug. 26, a hearing was held on the Clean Air Law recently passed 32-7 by the Albany County Legislature. Dan McCoy, the County Executive, has 30 days to sign or veto the law. We hear from Barbara Heinzen who has been active in the effort to stop the burning of tires by Lafarge Cement Plant in Ravena. The law would also halt future burning of AFFF (toxic firefighting foam) at Norlite in Cohoes. With Mark Dunlea for Hudson Mohawk Magazine.
