Climate Matters With Kate Boicourt segment 1

Kate Boicourt, Director of Resilience at the Waterfront Alliance, provides an overview of the Alliance and its role in supporting the diverse make-up of interests and activities along the Northern NJ – Southern NY coasts. Their efforts support these communities to improve waterfront access and build resiliency into planning processes. Kate also discusses the range of potential sea level rise. Beyond sea level rise, variance in projected temperatures and rainfall prompt the question of what future we want to see and what combinations of mitigation and adaptation are needed to help bring us closer to that future.
