NYS Budget on Homelessness
Tuesday was a busy day at the State Capitol with about a week left to settle the state budget. We hear from Jason from VOCAL-NY on homeless issues, Rev. Peter Cook of NYS Council of Churches on the need for progressive revenues to fund essential services, Rosemary Cantano on the need for funding for legal services to help people facing housing forceclosure, and Michael Kink of the Strong Economy for All on Fair Elections.
