Andrea Smyth talks the issues with Mark

This November, there will be an open contest for Rensselaer County Executive as Kathleen Jimino decided not to see a fourth term. Earlier this week her top assistant, Chris Meyer, conceded the Republican and Party primary to Assemblymember Steve McLaughlin. Meyer’s name however will still appear on the Independence and Reform Parties on the ballot this November. Wayne Foy won the Green Party primary.

We did an interview earlier this week with Andrea Smyth, who has the Democrat, Working Families and Women Equality lines on the ballot. We hope to interview the other candidates before the election.
