What to Do If You Are Stopped By the Police

WOOC Labor Talk Host and Roaming Correspondent Willie Terry attended The Coalition of Black Trade Unionists Region 1 Conference on “47 Years Strong, Saving Our Heritage” at the Albany Hilton Hotel August 16-19, 2018, where he recorded a speech given by Civil Rights Attorney Zilka A Saunders on “What to do if you are stopped by the police, police relations in our communities and how to address it.” Miss Saunders has been active as a civil right attorney, she was a former municipal judge in Newark, New Jersey, adjunct professor at Essex County College in Jersey and did pro bono legal work in the urban communities.
