There is a serious lack of access to representation for undocumented residents. Jarin Ahmed of the Columbia County Sanctuary Movement is a law student, and working to become an accredited representative for undocumented immigrants. The accreditation program, which is offered through the Department of Justice, allows people to represent undocumented residents without having a law degree.
