Devin Robinson

Devin Robinson(NATURE Lab, Lab Manager) Former field and wildlife biologist; Robinson is currently a tenured biology and honors zoology teacher at Troy High School. Devin’s specialties are what most would consider “creepy crawlies”, and has performed research on venomous snakes, and other reptiles, in Indonesia, Costa Rica, Brazil, San Salvador, and locally within New York State. Robinson is a mentor to students, an advanced PADI scuba diver, the boys and girls Suburban Council varsity tennis coach for Troy, the environmental club advisor, and has an extensive reptile, amphibian, arthropod, and fish collection. These animals are frequent ambassadors into his classroom, providing his students with the rare opportunity to learn hands-on about these amazing animals and other wildlife. Devin has worked in educational settings for over 10 years. He has been a science department chair and has designed curricula to promote environmental and climate justice, wildlife conservation, engineering, technological integration, and scientific literacy.
