HMM 04 – 18 – 22

Today, on the Hudson Mohawk Magazine,
We begin with a report from Mark Dunlea on a group biking from New York City to Albany to demand that New York pass the “Climate Can’t Wait” package of legislation needed to meet the state’s commitment to addressing climate issues.
Then, Aileen Javier brings us an update on the status of Angela Kaufman after new owners of the Lakeview Mobile Home Park in Saratoga served her with an eviction notice because of her activism in trying to oppose closure of the park.
Later on, Sina Basila Hickey interviews Luke Grandis about the need to decriminalize psilocybin.
After that, we continue the topic of Tuesday’s Mushroom Symposium with an interview Corinne Carey had with Assemblymember Linda Rosenthal, a speaker at Tuesday’s event, about two bills she has introduced to decriminalize the use of psychedelics such as psilocybin.
And we end with our weekly live chat with retired meteorologist Hugh Johnson, this time about severe flooding in Italy and, as always, a weather forecast for the week ahead.
