HMM 10 – 18 – 21

Today, on the Hudson Mohawk Magazine,
We begin with Dr. Alice Green discussing Prop 7 which calls for independent investigations of alleged police misconduct and human rights violations.
Then, Jane Patton tells us about the comprehensive report on the Formosa Plastics Group that is a case study of an industry-wide problem.
Later on, we get a recap on the rally calling for Rensselaer County Jail to end their ICE contract.
After that, we have two interviews with presenters at this upcoming weekend’s Ruderal Ecologies 2 conference. First we hear from Anna Scime, a media artist, and her project Lake Sturgeons’ Guide for Surviving the Anthropocene.
And then we hear from artist Margaretha Haughwout who shares the meaning of Capitalocene.
