Today, on the Hudson Mohawk Magazine,
First, WOOC’s Elizabeth Press speaks with Angela Beallor, a member of the Reimagine Troy Community Justice Services Working Group about the police reform process and community involvement here in Troy.
Then, on Reclaiming History, Lovonia speaks to Professor Anthony Paul Farley of Albany Law School about the Ku Klux Klan act of 1871, Trumpism, white supremacy, and the January 6, 2021 attack on the US Capital.
After that, Rensselaer County Historian Kathy Sheehan spoke with producer Melissa Bromley about some of the remarkable women who’ve lived here, in honor of Women’s History Month.
Then, on another segment of Reclaiming History, Lovonia Mallory interviews the local President of the Schenectady Chapter of the NAACP, Nicolle Harris, to talk about the lawsuit filed against ex-president Trump and Rudy Giuliani for violated the KKK Act.
And to close out the show, we have two arts segments about what’s on display at the The Arts Center of the Capital Region in downtown Troy, NY
