HMM 7 – 31 – 19

We start off tonight with a story on a recent bill in New York State to address the problem of wage theft for low-income workers.

Then for our peace segment we talk with Melissa Tuckey who will be speaking at the 21st annual Kateri peace conference on August 17.

Afterwards, we have our weekly food diary with Amy Halloran, followed by Collar Works Radio host Justin Baker interview with artist Matt LaFleur.

And we finish up with a Schenectady Today interview with Wanda Fischer, radio host of WAMC’S “The Hudson River Sample”, about folk music and her new book “Empty Seats”. But first, news headlines.
