NATURE Lab Workshop with Dylan Rees: Using Fish Poo to Feed a Family

NATURE Lab educator Dylan Rees will lead a workshop on Fish Poo. Aquaponics uses fish poo to grow plants. See a small tabletop system, learn how it works, and how to build your own.

About the NATURE Lab:

North Troy Art, Technology, and Urban Research in Ecology (NATURE) Lab is a volunteer-led urban ecology education initiative. Artist/scientist teams work to empower the community with knowledge about the local ecosystem and the skills to intervene in creative ways. Our programming includes community workshops, public art installations, artist residencies, research activities, and after school activities. We seek to combine global expertise with local knowledge to address the issues that are unique to the North Troy ecosystem and community. 

Join us for open hour workshops every Tuesday from 4-6pm at at 3334 & 3361 6th Avenue, Troy, NY 12180!
