Be The Media: Intro to Audio Editing with Audacity

Audacity is a free digital audio editor and recording application that runs on almost any Mac or PC. Learn how to use it to make radio! Lead by experienced media technology teacher Dan Vickery.
Be The Media! workshops teach multimedia skills to community members in order to develop urgently needed independent local voices. Our goal is to empower the public through independent media making, supplying them with the tools to tell their own stories through different mediums of media including video, radio and journalism.
We are committed to lowering the barriers to access for events at The Sanctuary for Independent Media. For people who are hard of hearing or deaf, blind or low-vision, or whose physical limitations can interfere with a satisfying experience, let us know two weeks in advance so we can make appropriate arrangements.
