Be The Media! Workshop with Louis Massiah: The Wealth Around You – Community History

Documentary filmmaker Louis Massiah, along with the Be the Media! artist/educators (Jim deSeve, Andrew Lynn and Branda Miller) will be part of this workshop have designed this workshop for community groups serious about creating something!
This workshop is for community groups to use media about their work, representatives (youth, adult, elders) will be asked to bring some object or archive material (photo, audio, document, home movie). We’ll create a simple framework to produce a short independent video which shines light on the community. Historians, media makers and musicians who want to help facilitate are welcome! With longtime Philadelphia filmmaker and MacArthur “Genius” Fellowship winner Louis Massiah.
