Be The Media! Workshop and Master Class with Albert Maysles: Direct Cinema

Documentary filmmaker Albert Maysles offers an intensive course in the principles, process, production and post-production of “Direct Cinema,” with personal advice on how to survive and thrive as an independent media maker. Albert will screen short clips from the new film The Art of Observing Life, USA/Russia, 2013. The film features Albert and other pioneers of direct cinema talking about their craft. Special thanks to distributor Cinema Guild, for granting permission to show the clips.
