Amy Goodman, the host of Pacifica Radio’s Democracy Now! helps celebrate the five year anniversary of the Hudson Mohawk Independent Media Center and launches a capital campaign for The Sanctuary For Independent Media. The dinner fundraiser will take place from 5:30-7 PM and feature a meal catered by local restaurants including Ali Baba, Al Baraki, Honest Weight Food Coop and more. At 7:30 PM she’ll be speaking a few blocks away at Christ Church in Troy (35 State Street). Celebrate ten years of Democracy Now! and five years of the Hudson Mohawk Independent Media Center. The fundraising dinner will be 5:30 PM at The Sanctuary For Independent Media, 3361 6th Avenue, Troy. Talk 7:30 PM at Christ Church, 35 State Street, Troy (by donation).
