“Aftershock: American Voices,” Presented with Members of SUNY Albany’s Campus Greens and Campus Action

January 19, 2006 @ 7:00 pm 9:00 pm EST

Shot in Washington DC on January 20, 2005, Aftershock: American Voices (Bob Grey, Anne Derwent) chronicles counter inaugural events. It is an inspirational piece featuring such anti-war notables as Celeste Zappala, of the Gold Star Families For Peace and independent journalist Amy Goodman. The film also features performance pieces by Billionaires For Bush and the Raging Grannies and music by Sweet Honey In The Rock and Addek, with all artists lending their unique social perspectives. These segments are interwoven with quotes from founding fathers and prominent US citizens. While much has transpired since the inauguration, not much has changed.
