Dr. Miller holds an Ed.D in Executive Leadership and a Masters of Education Administration both from St. John Fisher College. He also has a Bachelor of Science in Physical Education and Teacher Cert. from SUNY Brockport. Dr. Miller has 20 + years in the Urban Public Education system, specializing in school redesign and reform, creating effective change for schools through collaborative missions, visions, and teamwork. Dr. Miller is the new CEO of Charter Champions of Rochester (CCR). CCR is new organization designed to support Charter schools reach their desired results. CCR supports 25 schools to improve the educator pipeline by the creation of a network, certification and micro-credentialing, new educator trainings, and incentives for educators.
Previously, Dr. Miller helped build Green Tech Charter Schools for 11 school years with stellar results, more than doubling the graduation rates recognized by the State of New York for Black males. Graduation rates averaging 95%, 100% acceptance to college, and upwards of 15 million per year in scholarship money. Additionally, Dr. Miller operates his consulting company, Urbane Education Alterations and is working to help schools in America improve their graduation rates as well. Over the course of Dr. Millers career, he has been apart of several initiatives and non-profit organizations to bring good change to disadvantaged communities.
