Taína Asili will share the story of her two-decade journey as a singer and activist creating music for social change. Through songs and personal narrative, she will reflect on the challenges she has faced and the lessons she’s learned making art in service of love and liberation. Workshop participants will explore how art can be a powerful tool for resistance, healing, and liberation, and reflect on their own creative paths through guided discussion and engagement. This workshop will inform the audience experience of Taína’s performance the next day.
