Be The Media! Workshop with Jill Malouf: Nuts and Bolts for Shooters

Do you own video camera or plan to purchase one soon? Want to become a filmmaker, but aren’t sure where to start? Already a video shooter, but not as good as you know you can be? Join us Sunday, January from 1-5pm. Bring your personal video camera to this workshop for hands-on lessons on how to make the most of what you have. Polish up your shooting skills and learn how to make great recordings in a variety of settings. Material covered will include: manual camera functions, shot composition, recording sounds, and how to cover an event. (Track: Documentary.)

About the Instructor:

Jill Malouf has been involved in film and video production for more than 10 years as a videographer, camera assistant, gaffer, grip, and editor. She has worked on everything from major nationwide television commercials to low budget motion pictures and documentaries. She is also an avid still photographer and promotes the Capital Region with her photography through a local company she co-founded called Imagine Albany.
