Tues. Oct 6 Rally Capitol vs Constitution Pipeline

On Tuesday, October 6 following the completion of the 108-mile Women’s Water Walkalong the route of the proposed Constitution Pipeline, walk participants and supporters will rally at the NYS Capitol at noon on the Million Dollar Staircase. Trump and the gas industry are trying to circumvent New York State’s authority and force the pipeline through, even though it was already rejected by the Department of Environmental Conservation in 2016 because of the threats it posed to water quality, a decision upheld by the courts. Dr. Kathleen Nolan of Catskill Mountain Keeper and the NY Chapter of Physicians for Social Responsibility, talks about the pipeline with Mark Dunlea of Hudson Mohawk Magazine.
